The Kerala Department of Technical Education is accepting applications for Engineering Diploma Courses (Polytechnic) for the academic year 2023-24. Admissions are being handled online. The applications were invited online, and the deadline for submission was July 7.
The DTE will issue a tentative rank list and Trial allotment for admissions purposes. Once the trial allotment and preliminary rank list are released, students can make changes to their applications as needed.
The Provisional Rank List and Trial Allotment will be issued on July 11, 2023, according to the updated schedule provided on the website polyadmission.org. Students will then have four days until July 15 to make online adjustments.

As soon as everything has been double-checked, the Final Rank List and initial allocation will be published online. This allocation will be determined by a merit list based on class 10 grade point averages. The first allocation will be announced on July 19, 2023.
The students will obtain the letter of allotment online and bring all required documents to the designated institution. Failure to report on time will result in the cancellation of the first-list allocation, and students will be required to wait for the next allocation.
The same procedure is repeated until completion of the admissions process.
Concerning Kerala Polytechnic Seat Allocation
A few technical authorities in the country administer entrance examinations for polytechnic course admissions. However, DTE Kerala has granted admissions based on a merit list.
The students report to the designated college and pursue their diplomas under the supervision of the state board of technical education.
Timetable for Rank List and Assignment
Initially, the board stated that the Trial allotment would be published on July 6, but this date was postponed. The relevant schedule is shown in the table below.
