In November, the West Bengal Service Commission will administer the Preliminary Exam for Civil Services (Exe). In the coming days, the Commission must disseminate the Schedule for Civil Services 2023 and Audit and Accounts Services 2023.
The WBPSC WBCS Prelims Exam Admit Card 2023 for the examination described above will be made available at wbpsc.gov.in. Candidates are advised to download and print their admit cards in advance to avoid Server Congestion.
In February 2023, the West Bengal Civil Services (Executive) was announced. The deadline for submitting an online application was March 21. More than three million individuals have enrolled for the WBCS Examination 2023.

WBCS Admit Card 2023 for Preliminary test is available for download at least 10 days before the test. The admit card will be available on the Commission’s official website, www.wbpsc.gov.in. For candidates, a direct link to get the admit card will be provided on the Official Website.
Candidates must use their Application Registration Credentials to download the WBCS Preliminary Admit Card. If a candidate forgets their Application ID or password, they can regain it by providing a cell number or email address. Download the Admit Card using the links provided below.
Candidates must also bring a picture identification card to the exam. When you enter the test hall, the examiner will ask you to present them your Online Printed Admit Card and ID. Candidates will not be permitted to take the preliminary test if any of the documents are not available. Candidates may bring any of the following identification cards: Aadhar Card, Voter ID Card, Passport, Driving License, or Pancard.

Details of the WBCS Preliminary Examination
The Commission will hold a preliminary examination for the West Bengal Civil Services in the first phase. The examination will be a screening exam with only one paper. The WBCS Prelims Examination Scheme is as follows.
- The Preliminary Examination will consist of only one paper, a “General Studies” exam.
- Each incorrect response to multiple-choice questions (MCQ Type) will result in negative grading.
- The paper will be objective in nature, with 200 multiple-choice questions.
- The paper will be worth 200 points and will last 212 hours.
