The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission (UPSSSC) administered re-examinations for a variety of positions, including Village Development Officer, Gram Panchayat Adhikari, and Samaj Kalyan Adhikari.
The UPSSSC VDO Exam was held on the 26th and 27th of June 2023 at numerous examination centers throughout the state of Uttar Pradesh.

In May-June of 2018, the UPSSSC VDO examination was first announced, with a total of 1953 available positions. This included 1527 Gram Panchayat Adhikari positions, 362 Gram Vikas Adhikari (VDO) positions, and 64 Samaj Kalyan Paribekshak positions.
However, the exam, which was originally administered on the 22nd and 23rd of December 2018, was canceled due to departmental reasons. Those who had taken the examination at that time were given another opportunity to attempt it this year.

Examination Overview
The examination contained objective questions. The test consisted of three sections: General Hindi, General Intelligence, and General Knowledge. The examination contained 150 questions. The questions covered a variety of topics, including General Hindi, General Intelligence, and General Knowledge. Negative markings of 0.5 points were also present.
