The West Bengal State Electricity Transmission Company Limited had previously issued a recruitment notice for various positions under REC/2023/01. In furtherance of this recruitment, the company recently administered a written exam to fill various positions, including those of assistant manager, assistant engineer, junior executive, junior engineer, office executive, and grade III technician.
On August 12 and 13, 2023, the WBSETCL Exam was administered at various examination centers. Now, all candidates who took this examination are avidly awaiting their WBSETCL Exam Results. The results will be posted on the WBSETCL’s official website.
The exam was administered for a total of 198 positions. From 26 April to 19 May of 2023, eligible candidates submitted their applications. The final selection of candidates for these positions will be dependent on the personal interview that will follow the written examination.

With the exception of the office executive position, the WBSETCL administered the test on the same schedule for all positions. Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) were used in the online format of the test. There were 100 questions in all. There was one mark for each question. The question paper was divided into four sections: Bengali/Nepali Test, General English, Domain Knowledge, and Numerical Ability. Nothing was marked negatively. The period lasted 90 minutes.
The test for the WBSETCL Officer Executive positions had multiple choice questions and was administered online. There were 100 questions in all. The paper was composed of a variety of topics, including tests on reasoning, general knowledge, math, general English, Bengali, and Nepali. It also included questions on MS Word proficiency. The period lasted 90 minutes.
