Objectives of the Pudhumai Penn Scheme
The Pudhumai Penn Scheme strives to give females from the economically underprivileged part of society access to high-quality higher education. The majority of girls are forced to stop their education after high school due to financial constraints.
This program attempts to educate the state’s female citizens. Through the program, a female kid will get 1000 each month to assist her further education until she completes her undergraduate, diploma, ITI, or other recognized degree. An estimated six lakh pupils will profit from this.
What is The Eligibility Criteria for the Pudhumai Penn Scheme?
- The applicant must be a Tamil Nadu resident and a citizen.
- The applicant must be enrolled in school.
- The applicant must be enrolled in sixth through twelfth grade.
- The applicant must be a female enrolled in government colleges or institutions of higher education.

How Do You Apply for the Pudhumai Penn Scheme Online?
Students can only apply to this program via their schools/institutions, not directly. The government held a registration program for female pupils until November 11, 2022, at the respective colleges and universities. For registration under this program, female students were required to submit their information and supporting documents to their respective institutions, schools, or colleges.
Students who did not enroll for this program during the government-sponsored camp can do so by contacting the college/school principal. Students can also enroll online for the program with the assistance of their college/institute dean. The online application procedure for this program is as follows:
