The Aditya Birla Scholarship 2023 for IIM Students is a merit-based award made available by the Aditya Birla Group. The Scholarship provides outstanding networking opportunities for Scholars with the nation’s first genuinely global conglomerate. Scholars are welcome to work with us if they are qualified to do so, although it is not required that they join the Group upon completion of their course. Essentially, this scholarship will provide PG IIM students from India with funding.

Eligibility for the Aditya Birla Scholarship

The award is not available to all applicants. Only candidates enrolled in PG programs at approved institutions may apply. Read the list of qualifying institutions in detail below.

Students may apply for scholarships from the following colleges:

  • IIMs in Shillong, Lucknow, Indore, Bangalore, Kolkata, Bangalore, and Bangalore
  • Gujarat’s National Law University is located in Jodhpur.
  • Campuses of BITS Pilani
  • Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Kanpur, Kharagpur, Roorkee, and Guwahati are IITs (B. Tech)
  • LAW: Bangalore-based National Law School of India University
  • The Kolkata campus of the WB National University of Juridical Sciences
  • Hyderabad’s NALSAR University of Law

Selection Procedure for Aditya Birla Scholarship

  • On the basis of the information provided on the application form, 450 students from IIMs, XLRI, and BITS (Pilani) law campuses will be chosen.
  • The essays written by these students will then be evaluated by a commission in order to select the final candidates.
  • Students on the shortlist will be invited to an interview that will determine the 16 top engineering, management, and law students who will be named Aditya Birla Scholars.

  • After that, carefully read the directions before filling out the Aditya Birla Scholarship Form.
  • The Aditya Birla Scholarship Application Form may be downloaded.
  • After that, complete the application form with the accurate and required information.
  • Include the form and all supporting documentation.
  • Send it, together with any necessary supporting documentation, to your institution’s dean.

Renewal of the Aditya Birla Scholarship

Up to the conclusion of the course, a performance evaluation will be conducted annually for the renewal procedure. The Scholars will be evaluated on both qualitative and quantitative criteria to determine their leadership and academic ability. This will be used to decide if the scholarship will be renewed and whether the recipient will retain the title of “Aditya Birla Scholar.” Please note the following requirements for the scholarship renewal:

  1. To satisfy the academic requirements, the student must rank in the top 25% of their class.
  2. The work produced by the Scholar during the program will be evaluated.
  3. At least 60% of the Scholar’s tasks must receive a 7 out of 9 grade.
  4. It will be decided which scholars participate in at least two campus forums.
  5. Giving the Scholar a 250-word essay on “Being an Aditya Birla Scholar – experience sharing” would help identify the Scholar’s learnings.
  6. The Scholar should provide the aforementioned data for the performance measurement, and the institute’s dean shall verify it.
  7. Based on the total performance across all domains, the evaluation will be conducted.
