ICAR IARI Assistant Syllabus 2023 Paper Pattern & Examination Scheme

In order to fill the positions of Assistants, the Indian Agricultural Research Institute (IARI) will hold a competitive examination. In July 2023, the preliminary exam for the first phase will take place. The officials have not yet provided a precise date for the same.

A total of 462 positions are being filled through the recruiting process. Up until June 1, 2022, eligible applicants might apply online for these positions. The Preliminary Test, however, will take place during the last week of July 7, 8, and 10 in 2023.

Candidates must adequately prepare for the Preliminary Test, Mains Examination, and Skill Test in order to be chosen for the Assistant positions. Plan for the ICAR IARI Assistant Grade Exam

Preliminary Examination

  • The ICAR Assistant Grade Exam will consist of four parts.
  • Each section will contain 25 multiple-choice objective questions.
  • Each question is worth two points.
  • The maximum number of points on the Preliminary examination will be 200.
  • There will be a negative 1/3 mark deducted for incorrect answers.
  • The Preliminary Examination will last one hour.

The Mains Exam

  • There will be two papers in the ICAR Assistant Mains Exam.
  • Answers to Paper 1 will be of an objective nature.
  • Questions of the descriptive variety will be in Paper 2.
  • For incorrect responses, a 1/3 mark deduction will apply.

ICAR IARI Assistant Test of Abilities

  • Candidates who pass the Prelims and Mains examinations will be required to take the IARI Assistant Skill Test (Computer Proficiency Test).

You May Like

  • Three modules will comprise the Computer Proficiency Test (CPT): (i) Word Processing, (ii) Spread Sheet, and (iii) Generation of Slides.
  • CPT is of a qualifying nature, and passing all three Modules is required.
  • Each module will be 15 minutes in length. These modules will be conducted sequentially.
