Date of the RBI Assistant 2023 Exam
The Reserve Bank of India updated the RBI Assistant Exam Date 2023 for Prelims and Mains Exam on its official website www.rbi.org.in on October 6, 2023. The RBI Assistant 2023 examination will be administered at various times and locations across India. According to the official notice, the preliminary exam for RBI Assistant 2023 will be held on the 18th and 19th of November 2023, while the main exam will be held on the 31st of December 2023.

Exam Structure for the RBI Assistant Exam Preliminaries
The preliminary examination for RBI Assistant 2023 is comprised of three sections: English, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning. There will be a negative scoring penalty of 0.25 points. The duration of the RBI Assistant Preliminary Examination is 1 hour (60 minutes), which is divided into sectional timings of 20 minutes per section, and the distribution of marks is tabulated below:

Candidates who pass the RBI Assistant Prelims Exam will be required to take the RBI Assistant Mains Exam. English, Quantitative, Reasoning, Computer Knowledge, and General Awareness were the five sections. A 0.25-point deduction will be applied. The time duration for this phase is 135 minutes, which is divided into sections as shown in the table below-

Test of Language Proficiency for RBI Assistant
The candidates provisionally shortlisted from the primary online examination will have to undergo a language proficiency test (LPT). The language proficiency examination will be administered in the Official/Local Language of the concerned State (as specified below). Candidates lacking proficiency in the Official/Local Language will be eliminated from the selection process.
