The plot isn’t all that crazy; Hirako doesn’t even realize how strong he is, let alone that his community is full of people who are incredibly powerful. One aspect of the narrative is that it provides us with a good deal of world-building.
The political relationships between the many families, kingdoms, and polities are well outlined. I also adore how one of the generals serving under the Demon Lord resigns from his position as a result of Great Village’s growing might.
In the upcoming episodes, perhaps, more details regarding the Demon Lord side of things will be revealed. However, the world-building is excellent. Aside from that, the plot is mediocre.
