The third episode of the Kick-Ass movie series will be based on the second movie, according to one of the franchise’s developers, Mark Miller, who thrilled fans with the news back in 2013. However, their excitement was short-lived because critics gave the second movie mediocre reviews and thought it was inferior to the first.
Despite declaring that the third movie will be the last one in the same year, more than 11 years have gone with no word about Kick-Ass 3. The third movie is not currently in the works, according to Mark, who recently spoke with ScreenRant.
While Mark and the other franchise creator, Matthew Vaughn, are good friends and even worked together on a different movie, Kingsman: The Secret Service, Vaughn has a deal with Apple, whilst Mark has dealt with Netflix. Mark said that there are currently no plans to revisit the Kick-Ass universe because doing so would involve a lot of time and work.
Kick-Ass 3 Release Date
By the end of 2023 or 2024, the third season will debut. Due to the fact that we are unsure of who the show’s creators are, we are unable to issue a statement assuring a release. We must hold off till the Kick-Ass creator makes a formal announcement.
The Bourne sequel, released in August 2013, was written and directed by Jeff Wadlow, with Johnson, Mintz-Plasse, and Moretz portraying the appropriate characters. Bourne made the decision to restart the series public in 2018. The series may be restarted, according to the creators.
