Qualifications for Education
After earning an M.D., M.S., or M.D.S. degree, or a credential recognized as being equivalent thereto, candidates should have fourteen years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in a subject specialty. After earning an M.Ch./D.M. (2 years or 5 years course recognized after MBBS) in respective discipline/topic, or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto, one may also have twelve years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in a subject specialty.

Alternatively, for candidates holding a three-year recognized degree of D.M. or M.Ch. in the relevant discipline or subject, or a qualification recognized as equivalent thereto, eleven years of teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in a subject specialism.
Age Restrictions
Maximum age is 58 years.
Fee for Application
The application fee is 3000 for candidates from the General, EWS, and OBC (Male) categories. The application fee is 1000 for General, EWS, and OBC (Female) candidates. Candidates from the SC/ST categories must pay a fee of $500.
